Hi, I’m Alysha. I’m a writer and organiser based in Singapore, and I’m obsessed with media.
As Marketing Lead and an artist with the art x technology research lab Feelers, I follow flows of information through cables and code. Through workshops and writing (most recently on piracy and the attention economy), I study the structures that shape our media consumption, and search for ways we can reclaim autonomy online. In our performance projects, I look to the material infrastructures that underpin our digital life as a site of play and possibility.
I also co-founded and managed NIMBUS, a network of independent media organisations in Singapore. NIMBUS brings together online magazines, publishers, advocacy and arts groups together to share knowledge and build structures of solidarity.
